A LOTO kit (lockout kit) is a ready-made package in which the equipment needed for the lockout and tagout steps is assembled in advance and supplied in a single bag, box or wall station. A typical kit includes safety padlocks, lockout hasps, circuit breaker, plug or valve lockout devices and warning tags.

The biggest advantage of using a ready-made set is that it removes the trouble of researching parts one by one and making them fit together. Companies setting up their program and technicians working at different sites have everything they need with them, organized and complete; this prevents LOTO steps from being skipped in maintenance where several people work at the same time and also prevents equipment from going missing.

At Sofilx LOTO, we supply more than 25 LOTO sets, from mini kits with waist bags for electricians to sets with wall-mounted stations, from valve and pneumatic isolation sets to professional packages suitable for ships.

  • Points to lock out: List the circuit breaker, plug and valve types in your facility; the contents of the kit should cover that entire list.
  • User profile: A personal kit suits a single technician, a large kit suits a team, and a model with a station suits a shared area.
  • Carrying format: Teams that move around the site should prefer a bag or box, while fixed maintenance points should prefer a wall station.
  • Number of padlocks: Compare the number of personal padlocks supplied with the kit to the number of people working at the same time.
  • Room to grow: When your needs increase, you can add any missing devices one by one from the padlock and circuit breaker lockout categories.
Applications

Where Are LOTO Sets Used?

Factories and production facilities

Used to quickly launch a LOTO program with a complete equipment infrastructure.

Electrical maintenance teams

Brings together the devices needed for panel and circuit breaker interventions in one place.

Energy, petrochemical and automotive sites

Makes it easier to isolate electrical, mechanical and pneumatic energy sources together.

Ships, shipyards and service companies

Should I buy a ready-made set or the products separately?
If you are just starting with LOTO or want to bring a quick solution to the site, a set is more practical. If you only need to lock out one specific point, choosing individual products may be more economical.
What are LOTO set prices?
The price varies by the scope and contents of the set and the order quantity. For a current quote, stock and delivery information, you can message the product code and quantity to our WhatsApp line or call us by phone.
Can the set contents be changed?
Yes. For bulk orders, we can customize the contents to the breaker and valve types in your facility.
Which breakers are the electrical sets compatible with?
Electrical sets include different lockout devices for common MCB and moulded case breaker types. If you have a different breaker, simply send us a photo for a compatibility check.
Can we receive training with the set?
Yes. In addition to supplying sets, we also offer hands-on LOTO training and consulting services.
Where can I see the quantities of the parts in the set?
The parts, their quantities and the total part count are listed in the “Set Contents” section of each set's product page.
What is the difference between a kit with a station and a kit with a bag?
A kit with a station is fixed to the wall and keeps equipment organized at a shared point; kits with bags or boxes let teams moving around the site carry the equipment with them.

LOTO Set Prices and Models

Instead of collecting the lockout equipment needed for LOTO applications piece by piece, choosing a ready-made LOTO set saves time and removes the risk of incompatibility between parts. Our sets for electrical, mechanical, valve and pneumatic isolation are offered in a wide range, from waist-pouch mini kits to models with wall stations and large carrying cases.

When choosing the right model, consider the energy sources to be locked out, the number of people who will work at the same time, and whether the equipment will be kept in the field or at a fixed point. For bulk orders, we can tailor the set contents to your facility.

LOTO set prices vary depending on the scope of the set and the order quantity. For a current quote, stock status and delivery time, simply send us the product code on our WhatsApp line or call us by phone.
