The BD-D05-1-RED is a universal lockout device used to fix the handle of different types of miniature circuit breakers and fuses in the off position. Once placed on the breaker handle, it is tightened with a screwdriver and prevents the handle from moving, stopping energy from being restored by mistake.

The reinforced nylon PA body is impact resistant despite its small size. The device is locked with a single safety padlock with a shackle diameter up to 7 mm; this makes it suitable for personal lockout applications in which a worker fits their own lock. The red color makes the isolation point easy to spot inside the panel.
