The BD-D09 is a snap-on type energy isolation device made for non-standard miniature circuit breakers with special handles. When placed on the breaker in the correct position, it seats and locks on its own; the circuit breaker thus stays fixed in the off position during maintenance or repair, preventing accidental energization.

The reinforced engineering nylon (PA) body withstands the harsh conditions of industrial environments. Its light weight makes it easy to carry in a maintenance bag. When locked with a padlock with a shackle diameter of up to 7 mm, unauthorized operation of the energy source is prevented and the breaker becomes a taggable isolation point in the LOTO procedure.
