Product Details

The BD-D46 is a safety lock made of PC (polycarbonate) material, used to lock industrial waterproof plugs. It fits on the tip protrusion of the plug and physically prevents the plug from entering the industrial socket.

Being compatible with industrial waterproof plugs rated from 16 to 125 amps, it lets you lock out machines and devices of different power ratings with the same equipment. Because it prevents equipment that has been unplugged from being reconnected before maintenance is finished, it can be used in the lockout step of the LOTO procedure for plug-connected devices. Once the lockout is fitted, a warning tag can be hung on the plug to make it clear that maintenance is in progress.
