Product Details

BD-Q21 is a plastic lockout device developed to lock the valve of cylinder tanks, including forked and standalone propane tanks. The valve body opening is 1.25 inches in diameter; the device is placed over the valve to prevent the tank from being opened without authorization during maintenance or storage.

The special design of the body, made of sturdy polystyrene plastic, allows use even in tight spaces where cylinders stand side by side. In the LOTO procedure the tank valve is physically closed and the device is secured with a padlock, guaranteeing isolation of the gas supply.
