Product Details

BD-LT02 is a safety warning tag attached to equipment that has been energy-isolated in lockout and tagout applications. Used next to the lock, it informs surrounding workers that the equipment has been taken out of service for maintenance.

In the LOTO procedure, the lock forms the physical barrier while the tag makes the reason for and importance of that barrier visible. Having the tag at the isolation point clearly reminds people that the equipment must not be energized by unauthorized persons, and helps reduce risks arising from poor communication during maintenance. The tag can be used together with locks in personal and group lockout.
