BD-LT04 is a custom ID tag used in lockout and tagout applications to indicate who a lock belongs to. It makes the owner of the lock attached at the isolation point identifiable on site.

In the LOTO procedure, knowing who owns each lock is important so that the principle that a lock may only be removed by the person who fitted it can be enforced. A customized ID tag makes this match visible; it helps prevent confusion, especially in group lockout where many workers use locks on the same point. The tag can also be used to tell apart the locks of contractor staff and different teams.
