BD-G01DP is a safety padlock developed for dusty work environments, with a steel shackle of 6 mm diameter and 38 mm height. The "DP" suffix in the code denotes dust protection: the shackle and key section are designed to resist dust ingress. It is used to lock out and tag out electrical equipment and plumbing equipment.

The non-conductive, non-sparking body resists chemicals, extreme temperatures and UV radiation. With the key-retaining feature, the key cannot be removed while the lock is open, preventing the lock from being left open and keys from being lost. The red color suits use as a personal lock under the "1 worker = 1 lock = 1 key" principle; KD, KA, MK and KAMK key systems can be selected.
