BD-G11DP is a dust-proof LOTO safety padlock with a plastic shackle. The shackle, with Ø6 mm diameter and 38 mm height, and the key section are designed to be protected against dust; the "DP" suffix indicates this feature. It is used to lock out and tag out electrical equipment and plumbing equipment in dusty environments.

The body is non-conductive and non-sparking; together with its chemical, temperature and UV resistance, this construction helps protect the worker against the risk of electric shock. The key cannot be removed without closing the lock. Red is preferred for personal locks in most facilities, and this model suits the “1 worker = 1 lock = 1 key” practice.
