Product Details

BD-F05 is an adjustable lockout device that secures the handle of ball valves to prevent the valve position from being changed. It suits valves from 1/2 inch (13 mm) to 2 3/4 inches (70 mm).

Thanks to its adjustable design, valves of different sizes within this range can be locked with the same device, which reduces the variety of valve lockouts a facility needs to stock. The device can be used in the valve lockout step of the LOTO procedure to isolate the valve before maintenance and secure it with a padlock. A tag attached next to the padlock clearly shows who closed the valve and for what job.
