The purple BD-G38-PRP is a safety padlock used in lockout-tagout applications to secure an energy isolation point personally. Its body is made of engineering-plastic reinforced nylon PA, and its 76 mm high, 6.2 mm diameter shackle is made of non-conductive nylon, so it can be used with confidence in electrical panels as well.

The key does not come out of the cylinder while the lock is open, so the lock cannot be forgotten open. The push-pull dust cover protects the cylinder from dust. Purple can be assigned in facilities to groups that are often kept separate, such as contractors or teams working on chemical lines; this is entirely a choice based on the facility's own color plan.

• Nylon PA Body: The one-piece shell resists impact and temperature changes from -30°C to +120°C.
• Insulated Shackle: Because the nylon shackle does not conduct electricity, it can be used safely around energized equipment.
• Dust Cover: The push-pull cover keeps the keyhole closed in dusty work areas.
• Key Retention: The key cannot be removed until the shackle is closed, so the padlock cannot be left open.
• Automatic Shackle: The shackle springs up when the lock is unlocked, and the cylinder locks automatically when pressed down.
• Tag Options: In addition to the standard DANGER tag, PVC tags in different languages and with custom printing can be supplied.
