Product Details

BD-F15 is a polypropylene-bodied lockout device used to hold handwheel-operated gate valves in the closed position. It is sized for valves in the 254–330 mm range; when placed over the wheel, it cuts off access for turning and prevents uncontrolled release of the fluid in the line.

The polypropylene construction provides a body that withstands the conditions commonly found in industrial plants. Applied together with a safety padlock and warning tag, the device shows who isolated the valve and for which job, and completes the valve isolation step of the LOTO procedure.

Polypropylene Body: The body made of durable polypropylene is suited to long-term use in facility environments.
Specific Diameter Range: Sized to fit gate valve handwheels with a diameter of 254–330 mm.
Blocks Handwheel Access: Covers the handwheel to prevent the valve from being turned from the closed position.
Padlock and Tag: Applied together with a padlock and warning tag to make the isolation status clear in the field.
