Product Details

BD-F38 is a one-piece metal lockout device used to lock handled ball valves in the closed position. It applies to the valve sizes stated in the source as DN8–DN50 and 1/4"–4" (6.4–101 mm); it clamps onto the handle stop to prevent the valve from being opened.

The metal body resists temperatures up to 1,000°F and corrosive environments. This allows use on hot lines and in chemical environments where plastic lockouts are not suitable. Its one-piece construction simplifies application; used with a padlock and tag, the valve's isolation status is clearly indicated.
