BD-G21-RED is a safety padlock with a 76 mm high, 6.2 mm diameter steel shackle and an engineering-plastic-reinforced nylon PA body. It attaches to the isolation point of de-energized equipment and prevents the system from being put back into service until maintenance is complete and the lock is removed.

The body withstands temperatures from -57°C to +177°C, impact, chemicals and UV light. When the lock is opened the shackle springs open by itself, and when closed the cylinder locks automatically; the key cannot be removed while the lock is open. Red is a commonly used color for personal locks; following the “1 worker = 1 lock = 1 key” principle, one can be assigned to each worker.

• Key Retention: The key stays in the cylinder until the padlock is closed.
• Different Body Types: In addition to the EB type standard body, types A, B, C, D and E can be selected.
