The purple BD-G28-PRP is a LOTO safety padlock weighing 120 g with a steel shackle 76 mm high and 6.2 mm in diameter. It is fitted to the lockout point of the isolated energy source and prevents the equipment from being restarted until the lock owner removes it.

Because purple is rarely used in facilities, it can be chosen to mark a special group such as the automation team or a specific line. In addition to the EB-type standard body, types A, B, C, D and E are offered. The self-opening shackle and key-retaining function support correct closing of the lock and prevent the key from being lost; the body resists chemicals and UV.

• Zinc/Brass Cylinder: The zinc alloy cylinder has 12-14 pins, the optional brass cylinder has 6 pins.
• Durable Body: The impact-resistant reinforced nylon PA body suits temperatures from -57°C to +177°C.
• Chrome-Plated Shackle: The 6.2 mm diameter, 76 mm high metal shackle is chrome-plated.
• Environmental Resistance: The lock body resists chemicals, extreme temperatures and UV rays.
• Self-Locking: The cylinder locks itself when the shackle is closed, and the shackle opens automatically when released.
• Key Retention: The key cannot be removed while the padlock is open, which prevents the padlock from being left open.
