The green BD-G24-GRN safety padlock consists of a 6.2 mm diameter, 76 mm high chrome-plated steel shackle and an engineering-plastic-reinforced nylon PA body. It is used to secure energy isolation points in the lockout/tagout procedure and to prevent equipment from being operated during maintenance.

The body is offered as EB type as standard; body types A, B, C, D and E are also available. For personal and group lockout, keyed-different, keyed-alike and master-keyed options are available. Green is a color that can be recommended to separate the locks of production or process operators; adding a name or department by laser print on the body makes identification easier.

• Automatic Shackle: The shackle pops open when the lock is unlocked, and the cylinder locks automatically when it is closed.
• Key Retention: The key stays in the cylinder until the padlock is closed.
• Different Body Types: In addition to the EB type standard body, types A, B, C, D and E can be selected.
• Tag and Printing: In addition to standard front and back tags, there are options for luminous PVC tags, printing in different languages and laser marking.
• Zinc/Brass Cylinder: The zinc alloy cylinder has 12-14 pins, the optional brass cylinder has 6 pins.
• Durable Body: The impact-resistant reinforced nylon PA body suits temperatures from -57°C to +177°C.
