BD-G15-BLK is a safety padlock with a black nylon body and a 38 mm shackle height. After the energy source on plumbing and electrical equipment has been isolated, it secures the lockout point and prevents the equipment from being operated until the lock is removed.

Black locks can be recommended to separate locks allocated to contractor or outside company workers from those of facility staff. Since codes can be printed on the body and key, it is easy to track who a lock is assigned to. The cylinder is offered as 12-14 pin zinc alloy or 6 pin brass; the E-type non-slip body gives a comfortable grip in daily use.
